Women are taking a more prominent role in India’s professional learning landscape, with 62% of applicants to Human Resource (HR) management programmes being women, according to application data released by higher education and upskilling platform TimesPro.

The data highlights a broader shift in career development priorities among female professionals. Women now account for 28% of all professional learning applications in India, representing nearly one in every three applicants. The trend reflects growing interest in structured, credential-backed education as a pathway to career progression, leadership opportunities and long-term employability.
