When Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke at an election rally in Puthuppally, Kerala, on March 31, his comments about women’s leadership quickly became a topic of political debate online.
During his speech, Rahul Gandhi said, “We look forward to the day when we have a woman chief minister in Kerala.” His statement was intended to highlight the importance of women’s representation in politics and the hope for greater female leadership in the state’s future.
