The glass ceiling. Many might like to think it has already been shattered. Unfortunately, dismantling such a legacy is more likely to take a thousand minor cuts, bringing it down piece by piece.

I’ve been watching the progress each year, and it can seem slow going. According to McKinsey’s most recent annual Women in the Workplace survey, just 85 women are promoted to manager positions for every 100 men.
