The push to get more women in sports governance roles before a 2021 deadline is proving difficult, with some sports putting their hand up for help.

Sports Minister Grant Robertson has revealed some national sports organisations (NSOs) have told him they’re concerned they won’t meet a goal of 40 per cent women on all of their boards in the next two years.
