World Water Day is globally celebrated on March 23. However, the Arab Water Council (AWC), a premier organization addressing water management in the Arab region, commemorated it on April 21 this year.

A policy-oriented webinar, entitled “Where water flows equality grows: Sustainable water towards a secure future,” was the form this commemoration took, to share Arab and international good practices on water and related resources.

With 22 Arab governments as members, alongside 850 other strategic institutional members from various segments of civil society, committed to ensuring inclusive, integrated, and innovative policy and programming on water resources, this webinar contributed to enhancing water management efforts in the region.
