Estée Lauder Companies Inc. vice chairman Sara Moss will retire July 1 after 20 years with the beauty company.

Moss began her career with The Estée Lauder Companies (NYSE:EL) in 2003 as executive vice president and general counsel. She was promoted to vice chairman in 2019, serving as an advisor to the business, the board of directors and the Lauder family.

As general counsel, she led the company’s global legal and corporate security functions during a growth period for the business that included international expansion into Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. She also played a role in several acquisitions, investments and licenses of global luxury and prestige brands.
