Female leadership development, COVID-19 and the glass cliff

Over the past two years, COVID-19 has upended businesses and caused great uncertainty for leaders across every industry. At the same time, people who have gotten the opportunity to become a leader in the midst of these unprecedented times face a unique challenge. While getting this role provides them an opportunity to prove themselves as a leader, it’s also an unusually difficult situation to excel in.

The glass cliff is the concept that women are more likely to be in leadership roles that are disproportionately risky and precarious.
