Sancha Olivier, Business Development Lead – Africa for Atana Engineering and Consulting discusses the importance of women in energy leadership and the value of diverse perspectives.
She says the large body of female professional engineers and architects in her company is the glue that holds everything together.
“I think quite often we’re more prepared… women also bring more people together. I think they’re better at handling conflict mostly because they point it out and bring it to the fore but then also resolve it.”
“I think that’s a critical skill when you have large teams that need to work together.”
