Valerie Jarrett: Capitalize on Female Leadership

Valerie Jarrett may be best known for her past roles as senior adviser to U.S. President Barack Obama and Chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls, but she wasn’t always in public service. An attorney by training, she spent six years in private law before deciding to change course. Her inspiration? Her young daughter, and the hope that she’d one day be proud of the move.
