It’s as though this year’s International Women’s Day theme was tailored to match a first taking place at Dow Canada’s site in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland.

For the first time in the Fort Saskatchewan site’s history, Dow has female employees filling top team positions of an operator, operations leader, production leader, and site director. Junior operator, Steph Balog who reports to operations leader, Cat Garcia, who reports to production leader, Ragen Dvernichuk, whose supervisor is the relatively new Alberta operations site director, Catherine Costin.
