Malaysia Airports marked International Women’s Day with a leadership and empowerment event at its corporate office at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), bringing together employees, industry voices and government representatives to discuss women’s participation and leadership in aviation.
The event, held on 12 March, gathered around 160 attendees including Malaysia Airports staff, invited guests and media. It featured discussions on women’s leadership, creativity and resilience, and aimed to highlight initiatives supporting women’s roles across the aviation sector.
Guest of honour Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of expanding opportunities for women in the workforce.
