The Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) has reported that women now represent more than 60% of leadership and responsibility roles within the organisation, according to internal figures released during Equality Week ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March.
ICAM currently employs 205 professionals, of whom 133 are women (65%) and 72 are men (35%). The gender distribution is also reflected in leadership positions across the organisation.

At management level, women account for 67% of positions, representing 10 of the 15 members of the leadership team. Among responsibility roles, women represent 60% of the total, with 21 women and 14 men holding these positions.
According to the organisation, these figures reflect internal policies aimed at strengthening equal opportunities in professional development and increasing women’s access to leadership roles.
