The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking proposals from Civil Society Organizations to strengthen female leadership in the justice, rule of law and social cohesion sectors, as well as local governance, with particular emphasis on respecting and promoting women’s human rights.

Objectives

• Support creative and innovative initiatives that promote women’s access to leadership positions in the justice sector and governance, both formal and informal.
• Encourage mentoring and training programs aimed at developing the potential of young women, future leaders in their fields.
• Promote positive masculinity approaches and male engagement to deconstruct gender stereotypes and strengthen inclusive dynamics within the justice sector and communities.
• Build the capacity of civil society organizations working for women’s participation in governance, the justice sector, and conflict prevention, including academia, lawyers, and grassroots associations.
