Ramsay Honored at Tournament of Champions Women’s Leadership Awards Luncheon

Gail Ramsay, Princeton’s winningest women’s squash coach and a five-time national championship-winning coach with the program, was recognized at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions’ Women’s Leadership Award and Luncheon on Jan. 18 in New York.

The event, held at the Yale Club in New York City, recognized Ramsay as part of the organization’s women’s leadership program, which supports female athletes, leaders and equality.

One of Ramsay’s former players, Meredeth Quick ’01, was a featured speaker at the event, and among the co-chairs of the event was men’s program alumnus John Nimick ’81. Following the luncheon, members of the Princeton women’s squash team in attendance went to watch alumna and assistant coach Olivia (Fiechter) Weaver ’18 advance to the round of 16 in the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions.
