Nita M. Ambani, the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, bagged the “Sports Leader of the Year – Female” award at the CII Scorecard 2023 event in New Delhi, on Monday (December 4). The ceremony, which took place this evening, also recognised Reliance Foundation with the “Best Corporate Promoting Sports in India” award.

Ambani, known for her roles in education, philanthropy, and sports, has an estimated net worth of $2.8 billion to $3 billion, wearing many hats from entrepreneur to arts patron. Born on November 1, 1963, in Mumbai, she holds a commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics and was a teacher before marrying Mukesh Ambani in 1985. The couple has three children.
