Recently, State Representative John Moore, R-Brandon, resigned citing health concerns. Mississippians later discovered that his resignation occurred amid allegations by multiple women of sexual misconduct. This is troubling, but what is more troubling is that due to this resignation, the House has ended its investigation into his alleged misconduct, resulting in a lack of justice for Moore’s accusers and little to no political and/or professional repercussions for Moore.
