There was more than piping hot chai tea and baked goods being served at Sugarleaf Cupcakes in Stony Plain last week.

That’s because the bakery was hosting a special visitor that brought women from all over Parkland through its doors.

Stephanie McLean, the Minister of Status of Women and Minister of Service Alberta, make a visit to Stony Plain to listen to business, municipal and political leaders in the area and let them know what the Status of Women office can do for them.
