LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A group of women came together to honor those who came before them and help pave the way.

The Laredo Community College and U.S. Customs and Border Protection teamed up to honor women who served as a positive influence to their institution.

Nominees for the award were selected for demonstrating integrity and leadership.
