When Uber finally addressed its recent spate of troubles in a call with reporters on March 21, the company let four women do the talking.

Uber board member Arianna Huffington, human resources chief Liane Hornsey, and US and Canada business head Rachel Holt held a wide-ranging press call Tuesday afternoon to discuss Uber’s leadership, its corporate culture, and its business performance and treatment of drivers.
