As a young woman studying business, results from the PwC Women in Work Index 2016 were shocking. Canada currently ranks 14th out of 33 Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries in female boardroom membership. Workplace gender parity is a goal to strive towards, however, the slow rate at which Canada approaches our female leadership target worries me.
