Yesterday 64 year old Diana Nyad successfully swam 111 miles from Cuba to Florida – in her FIFTH attempt she found great success!  “This was Nyad’s fifth try since 1978 — and she had a few strokes of luck: favorable currents and fewer of the poisonous jellyfish that helped doom an earlier attempt, according to updates from her website and Twitter feeds.”
